About The Author

Sheri Smith considers herself fortunate to have discovered two lifelong passions: hospitality and creative writing. Her work journey began at age seven, when she appeared on Broadway
and in the longest-running M&M’s commercial. In the ‘70s, she enlisted in the U.S. Navy, aspiring to become an EMT, but the limitations of the time led her back to the entertainment industry.

In 1990, Sheri bought her own catering company, and built a reputation serving prestigious clients throughout Southern California.
After 9/11, she moved to the Big Island of Hawaii, where she created a castle-themed vacation rental that drew media attention, while continuing to travel back to the mainland for events.

Today, Sheri focuses on GourmetCatering.com and ChocolateFountainSoCal.com, bringing food, fun, and aloha to everything from intimate weddings to large corporate celebrations.
When she is not catering, she is writing, swimming, working out, or pupsitting. She continues to explore new creative endeavors with the same heart, energy, and resilience that have shaped her life.
